Vocal-instrumental band founded in Sarajevo in 1975 when Brano Likic, bass guitar player and composer, member of few Sarajevo's pop-bands in the wish to perform his own music, gathered few young musicians together. Straight after that, the band which included Brano, his sister Branka, Senad, Mario, and Krešo, had made first record of the song “Nemoj meni branit moja nano” and with it had make the breakthrough. Here is their first album "Nemoj meni".
Mandić's solo performing career began almost by chance in 1978 with "Ljuljaj me nežno" single. He composed that song, with text supplied by Marina Tucaković, for singer Maja Odžaklijevska, but since she failed to show up in Split studio 'Tetrapak' for a booked recording session, Mandić was persuaded by producer Enco Lesić to record it himself. Single was released the same year as "Ljuljaj me nežno" & "Šuma" by PGP RTB, garnering positive reactions both commercially and critically. Single is here, enjoy it!!!
The band, which survived the death of their long-time vocalist Sergio Blažić in 1987, was active until 1992. True to their pacifism, the band members appeared on Zaječar Guitar festival in August 1991, being one of few Croatian artists to appear in Serbia in a time when war raged in their native country. Afterwards, the band occasionally reunited for special events. The band plazed at the Belgrade Beer Fest of 2006. Here is their album "Mentalna higijena" from 1982.
Towards the end of 1971 he started playing in a jazz-rock band called Oliver with members of Pop Mašina along with Dušan Prelević on vocal. When he debuted on the scene as an underage instrumentalist in the early 1970s, most observers considered him somewhat of a wunderkind. Here is his second single "Ljuljaj me nežno".
